All the telecom operators bet a lot on MMS service, but people are still reluctant to use it as often as SMS, why?

Simple – MMS is five times as expensive as SMS and it’s definitely not worth it when you are just trying to send a one-liner to someone.
Except in the case where you want to show an entire video of your car stuck in the trafficjam to your GF/BF for explaining why you are late for the movie ;-) .

this is why $$$$$$$$$$$$ it just cost too much, plus two people have to have a phone that can handle the service

1. sms is much more cheaper and practical… you dont have to pay more or send a picture just to reply yes or ok to someone

2. not everyone has mms phones

3. its a bit of a hassle to have it activated and maintain it.

4. if you’re going to send mms to someone, you need to be sure if receiver has an mms phone and it is activated

sms is scheaper and i know its hard to beleive but everyone doesnt have a camera phone to send a mms also its much easier to send an sms through most cell phone carriers websites for free unless your on the receiving end of the sms then u get charged
